A gift in your Will could change the future for good

If you could do one thing to make the world a better place, what would it be? Would you help whole communities have access to clean drinking water? Ensure that children don’t go to bed hungry? Or give every child the chance of an education? You might think that just a few people have the power to bring about such fundamental change. Think again.

By remembering ActionAid in your Will, you can make the world a fairer place for its poorest people.

"My aunt gave to ActionAid because she cared deeply about those less fortunate than herself. By leaving a gift in her Will, she can continue to help those in need for years to come", Christine Macdonald niece of Miss Miller who left a legacy to ActionAid Ireland.

Legacies help us expand our work

Bigger projects simply need greater funding.  A gift in your will could help us build schools and health centres that have large, initial investment and otherwise might not get built.

Legacies help up respond to emergencies

Having readily available funds means we can respond faster to conflicts and disasters that hit the world's poorest families hardest, especially children.

What to do next

Legacies have helped to achieve incredible things.  Yours will too. And remember, a gift to ActionAid Ireland is exempt from inheritance tax! To find out more, call us on 01 8787 911 or request a legacy information pack
