Project updates

How your donations have helped transform the lives of children and their communities.

In 2010, we focused on two Priority Projects outside of our current work in our eleven child sponsorship development areas across Asia and Africa.

Many of our supporters and child sponsors fundraised towards these projects and you can find out more about what they did in our annual report 'Taking Action' 2010. 

Our Irish supporters also helped to give the gift of learning to starving children by funding the establishment of School Feeding Gardens in four primary schools in Pallisa, Uganda and we've provided an update here.

A large number of supporters have also joined our 'Kamaiya Building Project' and have generously donated to help the freed bonded labourers in Kamaiya, Nepal build 158 secure homes and have given them hope and their dignity back.
